DR. CHIANTELLA ANNOUNCES HER RETIREMENT
On the heels of the great recognition Dr. Chiantella has received above (click on the link above for more details), it is with mixed emotions that Dr. Chiantella announces her retirement in 2024.
Her last day of office appointments will be June 27, 2024, and will mark the end of her 35th year in practice in the community, and over 45,000 patients seen.
All patients who have been seen in the past 2 years should have received a card with this notification in the mail, sent in early January 2024.
If you are already scheduled for an appointment with Dr. Chiantella for after that date, the office will do its best to keep that appointment without change, and have you seen by Dr. Edwards. There may be some adjustment to the appointment date or time necessary to accommodate Dr. Edwards' existing schedule, so with over 6 months' notice, we hope this will be a smooth process for you. Since our records are electronic, you do not need to arrange to transfer any records to Dr. Edwards.
Dr. Chiantella has great respect for Dr. Edwards both as a clinician, surgeon, and person, and you will continue to be well cared-for.
In order to help this transition proceed as easily as possible, we ask that ALL PATIENTS scheduled for after June 27 please call the office, soon. Some of those appointments might be able to be moved up based on the clinical situation, but the schedule will likely fill quickly. Please be patient as it may take a few business days for the office to contact you back regarding the rescheduling process.
